Who we are

I’m Alec Bellotti, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell who’s been working professionally as a recordist in the Providence, RI area for the past 6 years.

I’ve been a part of the local music scenes in Rhode Island and Massachusetts my entire adult life, and I’ve seen countless displays of talent and creativity that don’t get nearly as much attention as they deserve.

If you’re like me, you may feel underwhelmed listening to a lot of modern popular music that seems “safe” and formulaic, compared to the incredible art being created around us all the time.

Therefore, I’ve created Monolith Studios with the express purpose of helping independent artists and bands with a strong vision create industry-quality records to break through the noise and find the audience that wants to hear them.
